This fabulous medal is by S Grun and is the smaller medal version of the large bronze plaque that is on the site. Struck in France in 1935 the obverse depicts a woman in profile looking from left to right contemplating an electrical component in her hand with electrical poles and lightning bolts in the background. It is signed "Grun" on the inner rim. The reverse has a keyhole shaped archway in the foreground through which can be seen an abstract design Of a dam wall with water flowing over each side and at the foot with clouds above. On the wall are the words "Lesmaire Raoul 1935" and "Syndicat Professionnel des Producteurs et Distributeurs d'Energie Electrique". The rim is stamped "Bronze" and with a triangular mark containing an anchor.
